Does wax help dreadlocks mat better?

I myself do not use wax. Some dreadlocks makers want to get the dreadlocks process started with palm rolling and waxing. Sometimes it is also used to get rid of the hair that sticks out. But this is less efficient than crocheting them directly in. Critical voices, however, emphasize that the wax does not really help the felting process at all and cannot be washed out afterwards. Therefore, the “Crochet” is definitely the better choice.

Scented wax

But fragrant wax can also be used to give the hair a good scent. That certainly can’t hurt on a date.

Please no beeswax

In the past, beeswax was used to make dreadlocks. Beeswax is almost impossible to wash out and should be avoided at all costs!
