We do not make fake dreads or dreadlocks extensions
Do you have real hair of yours lying around at home or given to you by friends?
Of course, we can lengthen dreadlocks if you bring us hair or dreadlocks from your friends. But we do not make dreadlocks extensions with purchased hair from a developing country! Not even with synetic hair (so-called fake dreads).
Where does the real hair come from?
Please do not forget that human hair is a human product. Much of the hair for dreadlocks comes from India. There is a short documentary about this that is worth watching.
But there are also other countries of origin. The problem is that human hair is a valuable resource all over the world and is highly traded on the market. So it happens that many people in financial need cut off their beautiful hair and sell it.
Is the human hair trade controlled?
There are still almost no suppliers who sell fairtrade human hair and it is not even documented where the hair comes from.

Are real dreadlocks right for you?
We get such requests again and again, which we reject. The reason is that we think that it takes patience and time for dreadlocks. You can not buy beautiful dreadlocks, they are created over time! For those who are impatient and want long dreadlocks from one day to the next, we recommend you to think about whether dreadlocks are really the right thing.
Everyone should do what they want. Nevertheless, we have decided to make only natural dreadlocks and therefore do not offer extensions.
